Ms. Agent Ottawa

Ms. Agent Ottawa is a cross-border concierge service dedicated to helping people navigate passports, citizenship-by-descent, NEXUS eligibility, and international documentation with clarity and ease.

The work is grounded in a remarkable lineage: Chelsea descends from two family lines with more than a century of immigration and border service at the Blaine–Peace Arch crossing. The McBride line on her mother’s side and the Wolstenholme line on her father’s. Without realizing it at first, she stepped into the very work her ancestors once carried forward.

Her own international journey began with her British heritage. Two decades of document gathering and navigation through the UK system eventually led to her own dual citizenship. Living and studying in French-speaking Switzerland deepened her understanding of how identity, culture, and documentation intertwine - and how overwhelming these processes can feel without someone to guide you.

Today, Ms. Agent Ottawa brings together experience, precision, and a calm, personal touch. Whether assisting with citizenship restoration, vital records, or cross-border travel logistics, she provides thoughtful support for anyone moving between countries or reclaiming a piece of their heritage.

The name Ottawa comes from the Anishinaabemowin word Odawa, referring to the Odawa people - an Indigenous Nation known for their role as traders and connectors throughout the Great Lakes.

Agent Ottawa carries forward that spirit of movement, heritage, and return to one’s roots.

The name was given to me by a family member - a nod to our life near the Canadian border and our deep appreciation for cross-border connection.
